Believers Blessing and Responsibility (Part 2)

We have seen the blessing of believers, let us see the responsibility of the believers

1) We are called to maintain unity (Eph 4:3). Unity is required for growth.

2) We have to use our ability for the benefit of the Church (Eph 4:16)

3) We have to speak the right word at right time.

4) We have to put away all sinful ways

5) Always speak the truth. Be transparent.

6) Put away bitterness, envy, evil, etc., The experience you go through will make you a nice person or a nasty person.

7) We have to submit to one another in the fear of The Lord

8) Seek wisdom from God

9) Husband love your wife as Christ loves the Church. Wife respect and submit to your husband.

10) Honour The Lord as a Family

11) Respect your master not as men pleasers but as God pleasers.

The believers blessing and responsibility

Christians have many names. They are called as Saints for their holiness, believers for their faith in God and brethren for their love.

Believers have the blessings from God and they also have a responsibility

God Chose us. We didn't choose God, but God chose us (John 15:16). We are adopted by God. We are the child of God. Hence go forth and bear fruit.

Don't Fish about past. Forget about past and don't remember it because God has thrown it to the depth of the sea. No fishing allowed, Hence don't fish about your past.

Forgive others. Some say that they forgive but never forget. They always remember. Forgiveness means that it never happened. Love covers multitude of sin. Remember that your sins will be forgiven only when you forgive others.

You are sealed. You have protection from God. Nothing can harm you. Disease will not come near you. God has sealed you.

Show Mercy. Don't follow eye for eye, kick for kick, knock for knock. Always show mercy on others. Everyone makes mistakes. Only Jesus didn't make any mistake. Remember, judgement to you will be without mercy if you show no mercy to others (James 2:13)

God has given you Power. Use God's word. God said that whatever you bind in earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you listen in earth will be loosen in heaven. Pray to God, call upon him for he will listen (Jer 3:3)

The enemies plan will never prevail

The enemies accuse you day and night but remember our Lord Jesus is there as an advocate to support you. It doesn't matter what people say. Your relationship with God always matters. Always hold on to the value which brings close to God. God will give you hidden treasure (Is 45:2&3). 

King promoted Haman. Everyone has to bow down and pay homage to Haman. But Mordecai didn't do it. Haman was filled with wrath and wanted to destroy Jews (Esther 3:1-7)

When Haman made a wicked plan but Mordecai didn't keep quiet. The problem in today's world is righteous people keep quiet when evil flourish. 

Church, How much of Haman character you possess?

1) Are you filled with racial hatred? Do you speak or entertain relationship only with your race?

2) Are you filled with pride when you are promoted? Do you don't respect your peers or people under you?

3) Are you threatened with other people growth?

4) Are you filled with anger when people don't respect you? 

Haman was filled with racial hatred against Jews. He wanted to annihilate Jews. Haman managed to get King decree to kill Jews. 

Why did God allowed Haman to device a plan to kill Jews. It is because God wanted to destroy Haman. 

When time came to kill Jews, the opposite occurred (Esther 9:1). Church remember, when satan tries and plans to destroy you, the opposite will happen. You will destroy satan. The sorrow of Jews turned to Joy. This was celebrated as Purim. It is two days feast to celebrate God's deliverance.
